Jane Crappsley is a Melbourne based artist with a background in drawing, printmaking and digital technologies. She graduated from the Canberra School of Art (ANU) with a Bachelor in Visual Arts (Hons) - Print media & Drawing (2001) and completed an Advanced Diploma in Multimedia (Interactive) at Victoria University (2007). Jane's practice combines traditional and digital media through drawing, light installations, interactive media and site-responsive public art.

Jane participated in the 2020 Summer Artist-In-Residence program and was mentored by Freya Pitt. As part of her residency, Jane developed a site-specific work inspired by her time at Collingwood Yards. A work in development was exhibited in LIGHT WINDOWS, a project presented in collaboration with New York's HoloCentre. Jane presented a new iteration of this series within Collingwood Yards in 2020.
