H.Mur is a visual artist based in Melbourne. They use the practice of photography, moving image and projection to articulate the everyday poetics and politics of bodies at the margins of margins. Recently H.Mur completed a collaborative fellowship at UnionDocs Centre for Documentary Art in New York City, funded by the Ian Potter Cultural Trust and Australia Council.

H.Mur commenced the 2020 Winter Artist-In-Residence program mid-June and was mentored by Salote Tawale. As part of their residency, they will examine the relationship between psychogeography and race within the context of projection art.
