Tina is an Australian-Greek artist living on Wurundjeri country in Melbourne/Naarm.
To hear the voice of tangled things, Tina works with a wide range of collaborators and mediums. This includes; family members, horses, chickens, dogs, cattle, communities, musicians, a powerlifter, translators, singers, movers, and children. Living in the interfacial regions of Melbourne Tina draws from her Greek diasporic experiences through voice and sound practices. Looking towards the arts-of-living-poor-better-together Tina works through a working-class intersectionalism, peasant practices of food sovereignty, multispecies collaborations, and exploring new ways to make and live in times of increasing global uncertainty.
Tina's works take the forms of group singing, moving-image, costuming, site-specific installation, live performance, performative environments, sound works, and the development of living-making-growing spaces for precarious makers on Tina's grandmothers' farm.
Tina commenced the Artist-In-Residence program in early 2021 and will be mentored by Keith Deverell.
