PLANTS ALIVE
Yandell WaltonJen Valender

PLANTS ALIVE presents a work in development using digital techniques newly acquired during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The work aims to emphasise the importance of the plant through altering scale and giving it human-like movement.

YANDELL WALTON is an accomplished contemporary artist exhibiting regularly in non-traditional and public spaces both in Australia and Internationally. Yandell’s practice addresses human relationships with the physical systems of the planet by interrogating shifting environments caused by climate change.  By using digital technology in the production and presentation of works, she aims to highlight the current technological climate and raise questions around its effect on our rapidly changing world.

Yandell is currently on the Centre for Projection Art Creative Advisory Committee and a Mentor for the residency program.
