We seek to engage both practising and emerging artists to explore, learn and develop their artistic talent and push new boundaries with Projection Art. To this end, we seek to run educational workshops, offer mentoring and artist residencies to develop the practice of Projection Art, as well as produce and consult on artistic events across Australia showing the amazing scope and artistic beauty of Projection as an art form.

As an organisation we recognise and pay respects to our First Australians, embrace the diversity of our community and seek to bring together people from all walks of life, cultures, sexual identities, religions and abilities to engage in our events.

The Centre for Projection Art's Board is entirely volunteer-run and seeks to promote Projection Art as an artistic practice through curated events such as the Gertrude Street Projection Festival, bringing together diverse communities to enjoy and engage in our festivals, mentoring programs and specific projection based events.

With a strong set of objectives and principles we continue to build on our history, our community support and our artistic credentials. We seek to acknowledge and financially support our artists, producers and curators, who lead and creatively develop our events and programs.

The Centre for Projection Art continues to work towards producing meaningful artistic events, both challenging and beautiful to our audiences, challenging what is possible and bringing people together through their interaction with Projection Art.
